RIK Stool Design by Inon Retting – The process used to develop these unique sculptural car seats is Vacuum Creating, that being fundamentally getting plastic so hot that it bends and forms for you to whatever shape will be inside of it, in the mean time using a vacuum to drag down the plastic so that it can form itself across the shape it will take. Inside example shown in the video below, Retting and partners create a couple of stools whose mind are inside the bottom of the plastic type of the stool, thus adding structure and therefore creating a bit of household furniture like no other, it’s unlikely that any other, absolutely unique in this world of industrial design.
